How to Read Labels: EU Nutrition Labels
In Singapore and Malaysia, we use EU Nutrition Labels for our local Food products.

When you want to compare a similar product with the similar Nutrition label, we use the Per 100g column. To compare which product is higher in protein, you should be looking at the amount of protein per 100g for both products.
Sometimes when we import food products from Australia, New Zealand and UK, the energy unit used is kilojoules (kJ). To convert it back to kcal, you are to calculate as follows:
kcal = ___ kJ divided by 4.2
For Serving Size, please note that the amount is dictated by the manufacturers. It does not mean that you should be consuming that amount. Rather you should be consuming based on what you should be eating in accordance to your physical activity level and what you need.
